Compounded tirzepatide
TrueMe review
TrueMe's month-to-month tirzepatide plan costs $149 and bundles the consultation, medication, supplies and shipping, with no membership fee. You pay first and fill in the medical intake afterward. If the provider turns you down, TrueMe refunds the charge. The service only reaches six states for now.
Who it suits
Good fit if
- You live in Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Texas or Wisconsin.
- You want one all-in monthly price with no membership on top.
- You'd like to know the pharmacy by name before you start.
Look elsewhere if
- You live anywhere outside those six states.
- You'd rather not have B vitamins added to your tirzepatide.
- You want to talk to a provider before paying, since TrueMe charges your card at checkout.
What you get
TrueMe sells its tirzepatide as GLP-1/GIP, a compounded dual-action blend with added B vitamins. The $149 monthly plan includes the provider consultation, the medication, injection supplies, shipping and ongoing support in the patient portal. TrueMe says there are no separate membership fees. Lab tests or expedited services can cost extra if you need them.
TrueMe itself is a patient management platform. Independent licensed providers on the Telegra telehealth platform make the prescribing decisions, and TrueMe lists Strive among its physician networks. Prescriptions go to CarePoint Infusion Pharmacy, a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy that TrueMe says is LegitScript certified.
How it works
- Choose GLP-1/GIP and the month-to-month plan, then pay. No intake form is needed before checkout.
- Create your account and finish the medical intake in the patient portal. You'll also verify your identity.
- A licensed provider reviews your answers, usually starting within 24 hours of a complete intake. Some states or histories call for a video visit or labs.
- If you're approved, CarePoint Infusion Pharmacy prepares and ships the medication. TrueMe says processing and delivery usually take two to three business days.
- The plan renews automatically. You get a reminder a week before each charge, and every renewal needs provider approval.
Pros and cons
Pros
- TrueMe names its pharmacy: CarePoint Infusion Pharmacy, a 503A compounding pharmacy.
- The $149 month-to-month plan includes consultation, medication, supplies and shipping.
- If the Telegra provider declines you, TrueMe refunds the charge.
Cons
- TrueMe serves only six states: Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin.
- The GLP-1/GIP formula is made with added B vitamins, and TrueMe doesn't list a plain version.
- Once CarePoint starts preparing an order, TrueMe says it generally can't be changed or canceled.
Check before you pay
- The 3-month plan
- The lower monthly figure on the 3-month plan is an average. That plan is charged in one payment for all three months, so the month-to-month plan is the one that bills once a calendar month.
- Renewal reminders
- Watch for the email a week before renewal. You can cancel any time before the charge is processed, but not after the pharmacy begins work on the order.
- Dose changes
- The page shows one monthly price and says dosing is adjusted over time. Confirm with support that $149 covers your dose as it increases.
