Compounded tirzepatide
NiceRx review
After a discounted first month, NiceRx bills $299 a month for compounded tirzepatide, and the price is the same at every dose. It covers the medication, syringes, shipping and a monthly follow-up visit. Expect a video appointment before anything is prescribed.
Who it suits
Good fit if
- You'd rather talk to a provider on camera than fill in a form and wait.
- You don't want to be charged unless a provider approves your prescription.
- You'd like refills to arrive on their own schedule without reordering.
Look elsewhere if
- You live in Alaska, Kansas, Mississippi or New Jersey, where NiceRx doesn't offer tirzepatide.
- You want to know which pharmacy compounds your vial before you pay.
What you get
NiceRx's tirzepatide page shows a lower first month, then $299 a month. Its FAQ says that price includes the medication, shipping, syringes, the first provider visit and up to one follow-up visit each month. The page promises the same price for all doses.
The tirzepatide comes in small multi-dose vials that you draw from once a week. A state-licensed compounding pharmacy in NiceRx's network makes it. NiceRx says its batches pass potency, sterility, pH and endotoxin tests, though it doesn't name the pharmacy.
Plans are subscription only. NiceRx also sells longer-commitment plans at a discount, alongside the no-commitment monthly one.
How it works
- Take the two-minute quiz. If you're eligible, enter your shipping address and card, which is authorized but not charged.
- Book a video visit with a provider licensed in your state. Slots often open as early as the next business day.
- The provider sets a starting dose and a plan to raise it gradually. You're charged only if the prescription is approved.
- NiceRx sends the order to its partner pharmacy within one business day. Most first deliveries arrive within 5 business days, and no signature is needed.
- Refills are scheduled for you and should land a few days before you run out.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Tirzepatide costs $299 a month at every dose, with a monthly follow-up visit included.
- At checkout NiceRx only authorizes your card, then drops the hold if the provider says no.
- Appointments often open by the next business day, and NiceRx says the online visit itself is free.
Cons
- Tirzepatide isn't offered in Alaska, Kansas, Mississippi or New Jersey.
- The page cites passed potency and sterility tests but never names the pharmacy behind NiceRx's vials.
- Canceling or pausing is done by emailing NiceRx support, not from your account.
Check before you pay
- The first month
- The first month is discounted. From the second month you pay $299, so plan your budget on that.
- Stopping or pausing
- Email NiceRx at least 48 hours before your next shipment date. Once the pharmacy has dispensed a refill, all sales are final.
- The video call
- A video call is required. Join a few minutes early to set up your camera and microphone, or you may need to rebook.
