Compounded tirzepatide
EdgeRx review
EdgeRx is a men's health service whose tirzepatide protocol costs $225 a month, billed monthly, at whatever dose your physician sets. You pay at checkout, before anyone reviews you. If the physician says no, the whole charge comes back.
Who it suits
Good fit if
- You want the pharmacy named up front. EdgeRx says every protocol is compounded by Strive Pharmacy.
- You expect your dose to climb and want one $225 bill throughout.
- You'd like a ready-to-use vial with no mixing.
Look elsewhere if
- You'd rather not have your card charged before a physician has looked at your answers.
- You live in Arkansas, Indiana or South Carolina, where EdgeRx doesn't operate yet.
What you get
Each month brings a one-month supply of tirzepatide at 10 mg per mL, compounded with glycine and vitamin B12. The vial is variable-dose, so your physician can raise or hold the dose without changing the formula or the $225 price. It arrives as a ready-to-use solution.
The checkout lists the provider evaluation, ongoing check-ins and shipping as included at no extra charge. Strive Pharmacy, a 503A compounding pharmacy, fills the prescription. Orders usually ship overnight, cold-controlled, in plain unbranded packaging.
How it works
- Choose the tirzepatide protocol and check out. Your card is charged for the first month at this point.
- Complete the medical questionnaire, which EdgeRx emails to you and says takes about 5 minutes.
- A board-certified physician licensed in your state reviews it, usually within 24 hours.
- Once approved, Strive Pharmacy compounds your vial and ships it, most often by overnight air.
- Refills renew every month until you cancel, and your physician handles any dose change.
Pros and cons
Pros
- EdgeRx names its pharmacy, Strive Pharmacy, and says it uses that one network for every protocol.
- If an EdgeRx physician declines you, the full charge is refunded and nothing ships.
- You can reach an EdgeRx prescriber any hour, any day, not only in business hours.
Cons
- EdgeRx charges $225 at checkout, before a physician has reviewed your questionnaire.
- Once a tirzepatide order is approved, EdgeRx won't refund or accept a return on it.
- EdgeRx doesn't serve Arkansas, Indiana or South Carolina.
Check before you pay
- Canceling before a refill
- Pause or cancel through the manage link in any order email, before the next refill processes. There's no cancellation fee, but an order already at the pharmacy can't be stopped.
- HSA and FSA
- EdgeRx doesn't bill insurance. You can pay with any card and then claim through Truemed, the service EdgeRx points to for HSA or FSA reimbursement.
- B12 and glycine
- Both are part of the tirzepatide formula. Tell the physician in your questionnaire if either is a concern.

EdgeRx questions
- Is EdgeRx legit?
- EdgeRx Health LLC is a telehealth platform headquartered in Midtown Manhattan. Independent board-certified physicians write the prescriptions, and Strive Pharmacy, a US-licensed 503A pharmacy, compounds them. The tirzepatide is compounded and isn't Zepbound or Mounjaro, which EdgeRx says plainly.
- How much is EdgeRx tirzepatide per month?
- $225 a month, charged once a calendar month. That covers the medication, the physician evaluation, check-ins and shipping. The price doesn't depend on your dose.
- Does EdgeRx take insurance?
- No. Protocols are cash-pay. They can be reimbursed through an HSA or FSA using Truemed.
- Can you cancel EdgeRx?
- Yes. Use the manage link in any order email to pause or cancel before your next refill. There's no minimum commitment and no cancellation fee.
